Welcome to Maria's Tacos Catering!
In 1997 on the campus of Michigan State University, two friends Ruben De Los Rios and James Espinoza, began selling burritos every Sunday to the poor and hungry students of Rather Hall Dormitory. What began as a hobby and service to fellow students soon turned into an expanding business as customers lined up in Rather hall, establishing Maria's Tacos. When Michigan State University student organizations caught word of Maria's Tacos, the duo began catering for ethnic events and the operation was then in full swing!
Maria's Tacos has now catered many special events such as weddings and graduations, as well as corporate events. All the while maintaining the simple philosophy of providing fresh home cooked Tex-Mex cuisine at affordable prices. Maria's Tacos is known for the process and preparation of cooking in full view of its customers. Everything is made fresh and cooked to order. Maria's Tacos uses only quality meats and produce provided by local Lansing distributors. This will ensure that you in turn, are provided with the freshness that our customers have come to expect.
